3 Purpose of Collection

Information collected is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Processing and managing recruitment applications for PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, and Central Initiatives.
• Verifying eligibility criteria, qualifications, and identity of candidates.
• Communicating admit cards, exam schedules, results, and offer letters.
• Maintaining grievance redressal records and RTI compliance.
• Improving the performance, security, and usability of our digital platforms.
• Complying with statutory obligations under Indian law.

4 Data Sharing & Disclosure

Your personal data may be shared in the following limited circumstances:

• Client Organizations: PSUs and government bodies for which recruitment is conducted, solely for the purpose of the respective selection process.
• Authorized Service Providers: Technology vendors and examination agencies operating under strict data processing agreements bound by Government of India guidelines.
• Statutory Authorities: Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), Ministry of Personnel, or courts of law when legally mandated.
• Audit Bodies: CAG and other authorized audit institutions for compliance verification.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data with any third party for commercial purposes.

5 Data Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by applicable law:

• Application data is retained for a period of 3 years from the date of conclusion of the respective recruitment process.
• Shortlisted and selected candidates' records may be retained for 10 years for audit and compliance purposes.
• Server logs are purged after 90 days unless flagged for security investigation.

6 Security Measures

NIHRD employs appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include:
